Kristalee Guerra Leija practices products liability litigation, healthcare, and commercial law. She earned a B.A. in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Ms. Leija, a former Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Fellow, was Champion and Best Speaker of the Hippard Mock Trial Tournament and Managing Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy during law school. She is admitted to practice in Texas and in all the United States District Courts of Texas. Ms. Leija is also Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), and has published articles for CCH Net News and the Journal of Healthcare Compliance. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Hispanic Bar Assocation, and the Brown Alumni Club of Houston. She was named a "Rising Star" in Civil Litigation Defense Law in Texas Monthly magazine in 2007.
